PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR FLY SHOPS
I have 30+ years in the fly fishing industry that includes working in and managing over a dozen shops. I have overseen the opening of several shops from scratch, operating in multiple capacities with broad, vital responsibilities. I can guide a new retail business through the entire process: offering solutions and completing mission-critical tasks. For existing businesses I can assist in new and improved processes and plans. Some of my specialties are:
- All aspects of inventory management: buying; inventory data; sales planning, etc.
- Shop operations
- New retail software integration
- Shop buildout / layout
- Business planning including marketing and community building
And while my experiences in the last 3 decades have been within the fly fishing industry I know that I can assist small retail business in other segments, especially owner-operated. I know how to "wear all the hats"!
